Who we are

Wantagh-Levittown Volunteer Ambulance Corps was founded in 1956 by Homer K. Moore as a means for transport for the residents of Wantagh and Levittown.
We have volunteers trained from CPR to the level of Paramedic providing emergency care to our communities.

Saturday, September 9th, 11AM-1PM

TOUCH-A-TRUCK & RECRUITMENT DRIVE

The Wantagh-Levittown Volunteer Ambulance Corps and the 6th Battalion invite you to join us for an exciting Touch-A-Truck and Recruitment Drive event on Saturday, September 9th, running from 11 AM to 1 PM. This fun-filled community event is open to children of all ages, offering a unique opportunity to closely explore an array of firetrucks, ambulances, and other vehicles used by our dedicated first responders.
The venue for this event is the Wantagh Train Station. Here you can personally experience and learn about the vital vehicles that serve your community. Don’t miss the chance to connect with the local heroes who tirelessly safeguard your neighborhoods.
For those interested in becoming a volunteer, representatives from each department will be present, ready to address any inquiries you may have. Your journey towards becoming a first responder begins here!

WLVAC Spooky Ambulance

Our annual Spooky Ambulance and Walk is free and family friendly event. Crafts, candy, snacks, and our zombie filled walk lead to the spooky ambulance for a spooktacular Halloween!
